Samsung email app wont download attachments






















I can't download or read Gmail attachments too, I have tried clearing cache, clearing app data, and even reinstalling from play store.. but I still can't get the Gmail app to behave.. the only way I have now is to use Gmail from chrome browser -- which is a slow archaic way!! I have the settings of download images and auto download attachments both turned on. Some images will download but i think that the problem images all have embedded links. The images appear ok if i create a reply or forward. I have have switched to blue email, but would mush prefer to move back to the samsung email if there is a fix for this. Samsung Email. If you know that the email is from a trusted source, you can turn off your browser protection. If you're using a laptop or a computer, most antivirus programs will have an extension for the web browser.

I have done a full shut down, cleared the cache to the phone and the message app, factory reset the phone and had their service team flash the phone. Samsung has not given me any more troubleshooting assistance other than they want me to send them my phone (without a spare or temp phone). The support provided by Samsung has been pretty horrible.
